Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As an official for the Space and Defense Department Kristin Fisher is a reporter covering all aspects of space including NASA to the newly created Space Force as well as commercial space businesses and space tourism. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been an White House reporter for FOX News, covering Biden and Trump Administrations' positions on space issues. During that time she also covered presidential impeachment trials as well as the 2020 presidential campaign and two attempts by the administration to stop the coronavirus pandemic. Her extensive travels with the Vice President and the President included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan, which she took together with Donald Trump. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter prior to becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Utilizing her expertise on the set, Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelors in Science in journalism from Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
